SUMMER HOME SCHOOL WALDORF WORKSHOP at Shining Star School, August 2008, Monday-Thursday, for parents, teachers, students of education or interested therapists, anyone who works with children of all ages or who is curious about learning how to teach in the Waldorf Style.
Generally offered the 3rd week of August.

Course FOCUS: Nourishing the Imagination 2007 Summer 2008 The Power of Imitation in Education, Summer 2009 Striving for Inspiration
COURSE PRESENTATIONS: Lectures: Creating Living Pictures, Child
Development Applications for Home Education, Leaving Room For
Imagination. Rhythmic Middle Classes: Bringing Movement in
Games, Using Poetry and Recitation, Creating Integrated Lessons with
Magic, Form Drawing as Imagination. Will Force Late Classes: Using Felt
and Wool to Create Imaginative Practical Items for the Home
Starter Kit ORDER: Home school Starter Kit can be ordered in
advance: six main lesson books, set of 8 block and 8 stick
crayons, set of six colored Lyra Giants, sharpener. $65.00 for the kit.
Will be ready for your pick up at the workshop.
Child Care: Child care can be provided IF there are enough
Children requiring it. A minimum of 4 children per day is required with

will meet with parents for lunch. Care provided from 8:45 am to 3:15
PM, with a 1 hour lunch break. Care is on site this year, with time
