The Linden Tree K 602 NE Prescott-Susan Rice, teacher  WAIT LIST ONLY

            * Four day program, 9 AM-1PM, ages 4 to 6 years old

             * Tuition $320 per month- 4 days $200 materials fee, $50 application fee

                               $170 per month - 2 days $100 materials fee, $50 application fee

The Linden Tree is at 602 NE Prescott Street. This beautiful old church has a full lot next door for our playground and garden, and it meets our needs perfectly. In addition there is a quiet small Two Plum Park just a short distance away that we use regularly.

The neighborhood is lovely and quiet and close to everything!  We are proud of our very fine rooms with custom built furnishings, pretty walls, and play items.  We offer preschool and kindergarten children a strong developmental program that nurtures the imagination and artistic realms, focus on the driving need of children to connect to nature and the seasons, and hold a strong rhythm that meets the needs of the young child so well.  Please join us in this lovely community of families as we forge ahead into our 5th year in this delightful, light filled space.  Susan Rice is the teacher with 13 plus years of Waldorf teaching experience.  WAIT LIST ONLY

Mother Earth K 's Location at Tryon Life community Farm located on Boone's Ferry Road near Lewis & Clark College, on 7 acres of sustainable farm land with goats and chickens, adjacent to 700 acres of public Forest and Tryon Creek.   Days are M-Th, 9:30 am to 1:30 pm.   WAIT LIST ONLY

Preschool-Nursery Faery Garden is also located at Tryon Farm. Ages 3-4, days are T-W-Th 9:30 am to 1:30 PM.  No Mondays.  Kelly Hogan, teacher

On the farm children will gather in an outdoor setting, with a K teacher, to play outdoors and enjoy nature, 9:30 am to 1:30 PM. The 'Burrow' will be used for resting, storytelling telling, and a covered shelter with center fireplace will offer a space for cozy playing, crafts, hot cider-porridge snacks, and more. This unique NW Nokken will offer children a fresh and nurturing setting to develop the self outdoors, properly attired, promoting health of body and mind.  (Mondays for the Mother Earth K meets at Lake Oswego Church of Christ, for indoor class activities).  This has worked out beautifully for the first year with baking or indoor craft projects, etc. kinds of activities happening on Mondays for the K children, and the rest of the week spent outdoors in the forests and fields. 

Please note:  The MEK is open 4 days per week M-Th, and the Fairy Garden will be offered only at the farm T-W-Th (3 days per week). 

MEK tuition:  $320 per month four days, $170 two days as arranged

Faery Garden tuition:  $280 per month three days, no part time option

MOONBEAMS NURSERY--FALL 2008 at 602 NE Prescott

For children 3 to 4 years old only.  Twelve children will meet each week for 3 hours per day with a teacher and assistant in a wonderful gathering of cooking, playing, craft, circle, and more.  Choose M-Th or MT or WTh for Fall 2008..  Our nursery is warm and loving, the children enjoy baking, crafts, play, stories, seasonal celebrations, and each other.  Warm friendships develop between families that will last for lifetimes.  Our program is designed to promote the development of positive social interactions, nurture the imagination, hold sacred precious childhood years, and bring a strong daily rhythm that meets the needs of these very young human beings.  Plenty of fresh air, year round, helps us to enjoy the seasons and Mother Nature in our Garden of Delight!  The Moonbeams has a private play yard that has gardens, paths, willow fences, and more.

Four Days  $360 per month. Two days $180 per month   A safe, nurturing loving introduction to education and community for our little ones!  Please apply early for this very special, limited space program.  Miss Julie Gatti will teach this class for the fifth year!  Welcome!
