LINDEN TREE EARLY CHILDHOOD SUMMER CAMP

Ages 3-6, Monday-Thursday One Week Sessions, 9 am to 1 pm

On The Farm: Earthsong Summer Camp
11640 SW Boone's Ferry Road, Tryon Community Farm Summer Camp
Ages 3 and older. Miss Kelly Hogan, our Faery Garden lead Teacher will offer a wonderful summer experience for your child up to age 8 at the farm. Goats, chickens, gardening, nature crafts, forest adventures, living and being outdoors in our bio-immersion program.......ah, to be a child in the woods and in the fields of summer! For the Bigger Kids:
4317 NE Emerson Street, Portland
Ages grade 1 to grade 6, Summer camp Waldorf style for kids M-Thursday, 9 am to 3 PM, fun activities and theater, games, play time, crafts, stories and more for the bigger kids who want to meet and have a good time. Occasional field trips by bus to various sites around town, we will use Fernhill Park and Walsh Play Acre to garden, be outdoors, and enjoy summertime. Painting, and arts, much more.
Two Waldorf Teachers will run the camp this summer. $150 per week, sibling discount, please sign up early! Healthy organic snacks, please bring a lunch each day.

Summer Music Camp:
4317 NE Emerson Street
Ages grade 4 to grade 6. Summer music camp intensive for children beginning grade 4 to grade 6. Includes music theory, composition, ear training, strings instruction, choir and singing, and much more mixed with fun games, outdoor play, and healthy art or craft activities. Children will attend Mon-Thursday from 9 am to 3 pm. Performance skills emphasized, reading music and playing skills for cello, violin, guitar or fiddle. Children should have their own instruments for the camp.
Each day please bring a healthy snack and a lunch. Instruments are the responsibility of the family. Children will receive music composition books, song materials, and more. The children do not have to have experience on the instruments, there are beginner, intermediate and advanced teaching sections.
Waldorf teachers and professional musicians will lead the camp. $175 per child for the week, sibling discount available. Applications must be completed and reviewed prior to acceptance in the camp. Sight reading will be taught as well as ability to create and harmonize with other musicians.
