Summer Programs 2012Children ages 6 to 11 years old
Grades Age Intensive Art Camps--taught by Laura Johnson, MFA, Pratt Insitute, Waldorf HS graduate, guitar player, singer of songs, teller of stories, and artist. Laura has taught summer art camp for several years now and has a wonderful repetoire of skills and crafts, blended with myth and story, to bring a wonderful artistic experience for children of all ages. Each week will include exercises in basic art skills as well as special projects that fit in with stories, songs, and much more. Laura is a teacher at the Shining Star Waldorf School and offers afterschool and private art lessons as well as creating and showing her own amazing artwork.
$75 per week, Monday-Thursday 9 am to 12 noon

Summer Strings Music Camp

Linden Tree Summer Camp
602 NE Prescott location, Portland, OR
Mondays-Thursdays July16-July 26th, 9am-12pm, Ages 3-6
Come join us for summer camp at the Linden Tree. We are going to have a lovely and fun filled relaxing summertime! Ms. Julie will be holding the program four mornings each week for 2 weeks in July this year. We will enjoy outdoor play at the Linden Tree play yard with picnic style snacks. Activities will include Storytelling, beeswax, nature crafts, gardening, waterplay, and more! Tuition is $125/week for each child. Healthy organic snacks and activity materials are included in price.
