602 NE Prescott Site:

Mixed Ages PS/K for Fall 2012.  Teacher Miss Julie Gatti.  Mon-Thursday 9 am to  12 noon  3-5 year olds are welcome to apply (must be 3 years old by September 1 to apply and potty trained).   Class has 15 children.

Ms Julie is in her 8th year of teaching in the Early Childhood Program at Shining Star Waldorf School.  She graduated from the Micha-el Waldorf Teacher Training Institute and has an extensive background in nutrition, nature, healing arts, and music.  Lucky children will enjoy their classes with Ms Julie and her capable assistant in our large sunny and beautifully furnished Linden Tree classroom.   A native of New York State, Ms Julie is a kind and loving teacher who creates magic and wonder for her small students in one of the loveliest Waldorf K spaces in the NW. 

We are blessed to have a full lot for playing, which has gardens, houses, fruit trees, a large sand and digging area, canes, a living willow fence and tunnel, and climbing trees.  The children love to visit also the nearby Two Plum Park just down the street in the eclectic Alberta-area neighborhood.

Crafts, art, story, circle, singing, Fingerplays, gardening, nature play, full sized play lot with trees, sandbox, magical willow fence and tunnel, gardens, play house, structure, boardwalk, and cedar lined paths, fully fenced.  Only 15 children with Miss Julie.  We value childhood and Waldorf education nurtures the whole family.  Includes delicious snack! 

2120 NE Tillamook Campus K:

TILLAMOOK CAMPUS NEW K PROGRAM OPEN FOR FALL 2012:  Wie Gehts?

Class for 3-5 year olds, with Ms. Brigitte Bonfield, class will be in delightful sunny room, private setting, M-T-W 9 am to 1 pm, with aftercare until 3 pm.  $3500 for the year for 3 days, aftercare extra.  This little class will offer space for about a dozen children, we have a delightful sunny courtyard play space plus we are building a brand new sand digging area in a corner of the large fenced play area. 

Ms. Brigitte is a member of the local German-American Society and founded a west side German Immersion preschool, luckily, she came to Shining Star Waldorf School and has grown her new PK-K class into a thriving and joyful community. 

She will teach the children in German for part of each day.  This is a wonderful opportunity for those interested in a language immersion program for their young ones.  Space is extremely limited so please sign up early for this program.  Assistant is Mrs Lenka White, also a German speaker (native of Czech).

Tuition $390 per month full time. note we do not offer substantial tuition reduction for our PK-K programs due to the small size of our classes.  There is some work-trade for tuition available.
